In this week’s session, I talk with Elyssa Morrill. I met elyssa through going to local bicycle advocacy meetings and it turns out our kids go to the same elementary. Our families have teamed up to help run the “Bike Bus” for the school, as well as doing other family rides.
Elyssa shares how she got into biking and how cargo biking with her kids has improved her mental health. She also talks about how it has given her a sense of connection to her community and inspired her to pursue a graduate degree in community organization.
